Research Support Community Day 2018

Date: Monday 12 February 2018

Time: 9:00am – 5:00pm

Venue: University of Melbourne, Forum Theatre, Arts West Building

We are pleased to bring you once again, Research Support Community Day 2018, to coincide with the VALA Conference. This day is for anyone involved in research support and services in academic libraries.

The program will include presentations from a variety of speakers including researchers, librarians, government agencies, and e-research specialists. There will be opportunities to network and to hear what other Australian research and academic libraries are doing in the research support and services space.

The day is aimed at library staff with an interest in research support and services. You don’t have to be working in the area or have experience in delivering services to researchers; we encourage a wide range of perspectives and welcome all, including those new to academic libraries. Sessions will be facilitated by research librarians who actively develop and deliver research services, and there will be plenty of time for discussion.

This event is being hosted by the University of Melbourne Library.
