VALA2022 Registration

VALA2022 Registrations ARE OPEN

VALA2022 offers you two very different experiences.

Bring IT Onsite! – join us onsite at the Melbourne Convention & Exhibition Centre to meet face to face with colleagues, friends, exhibitors and sponsors from across the country. A valuable opportunity to learn, engage and reconnect with the VALA community. It’s time!  Onsite delegates will also receive bonus and immediate access to the unique content on the VALA Online Platform.

Bring IT Online! – for the first time in VALA’s history, you can experience the conference from wherever you are. A daily 3 hour broadcast of live streamed content from Melbourne, additional virtual presentations and a series of on demand presentations and posters, and an Exhibition Marketplace for you to enjoy with access for 6 months following the Conference.

VALA2022 Fees

Group Registration – Help for Administrators

If you’ve been asked to register a Group for VALA2022, we’d like to help you and to make that process as simple and as swift as we can.

If you are registering a Group to attend the Onsite Conference in Melbourne, we need to collect quite a bit of information about each member of your Group, to support their time at Conference.  There’s not so many details required for participation in the Online Conference, but either way we recommend you collect that information from each person BEFORE you start the registration process.

To help gather the details you need, we’ve created a simple form for each of the Onsite and Online formats.  You can download them HERE and invite the members of your Group to complete them and return them to you.  The registration process will be much easier for you if your colleagues have done their part prior.

If you have any questions or encounter any obstacles in the registration process, please connect with the VALA2022 Conference Office who will be happy to assist.

Insurance

Delegates are strongly advised to secure appropriate travel and health insurance. Delegate registration fees do not provide any such insurance coverage. The Organising Committee and the Conference Office accept no responsibility for any loss in this regard.

Network

VALA2022 may provide attendees with access to a wired and/or wireless network. The access to this network is a privilege and not an entitlement and must be used appropriately. Inappropriate use includes, but is not limited to: unlawful activities, interfering with the equipment or network access of others and not respecting the reasonable expectations of privacy that attendees have for traffic flowing though the network.

Any deliberately malicious activities on either the wired or wireless networks will be grounds for instant dismissal from the conference (without reimbursement).

If any attendees use the network inappropriately, VALA2022 and its organisers will take any enforcement action they consider appropriate. Enforcement action includes but is not limited to:

  • suspending access to the network
  • disconnecting the network permanently
  • the alleged offender may be asked to immediately leave the event and/or will be prohibited from continuing to attend VALA2022 (without reimbursement)
  • the incident may be reported to local or Federal Police
  • any other measure the VALA2022 organisers see fit

Beware that for security and operational reasons VALA2022 may both monitor and log network traffic.
