As Conference hosts, VALA is very conscious of the emergence of novel coronavirus as a global health issue in February 2020. We are observing the Australian Government’s Department of Health advice and ask all delegates to do the same.
It is a requirement that anyone who has travelled from mainland China (not just the Hubei Province) from 1 February 2020 should self-isolate at home for 14 days from the time they left China. In addition, it is required that anyone who has come into close contact with a confirmed case of novel coronavirus isolate themselves for 14 days after last contact.
