Celebrating 30 Years of Looking Forward
A View from the Other Side of the Desk:
User Experience in the Library
Speaker: Dana McKay, User Experience Consultant, Swinburne University of Technology Library
Today's young people are perceived (and indeed perceive themselves) as connected and tech-savvy,
yet they still have trouble finding online articles, and prefer Google to all other information resources.
This talk will cover some of the reasons why users get lost, and how we can help them find their way.
